Part of Champlain Towers, a condo building located at 8777 Collins Avenue in Surfside, collapsed early Thursday morning, the Miami Beach Police Department confirmed on Twitter. “Multiple police and fire agencies from across Miami-Dade are assisting,” the department tweeted.
